&lt;p>It does not mean that I am against technology. Luddites are not against technology. &lt;em>Nobody&lt;/em> is against technology. Technology is just the sum total of the material &lt;em>stuff&lt;/em> we use to live our lives. Every single human being that has ever lived has used, and liked, technology. &lt;em>Chimpanzees&lt;/em> and &lt;em>octopuses&lt;/em> have technology {check octopuses}.
